Sausalito is a rustic French oak in pale wheat tones, with dark filled knots that stand out against the light surface. Its smooth planks give it a natural farmhouse feel without heavy texture. Light but full of character, Sausalito suits country kitchens, family homes and relaxed coastal rooms, where the contrast of knots and pale wood keeps the floor lively.

Structured. Sustainable.

9/16″ thick with a 3.2mm European French Oak wear layer. Para Wood core blocks laid perpendicular to the oak's grain: the crossed grains restrain each other, so the plank moves less.

Hand Applied Finishing

Finished with reactive stains, then sealed with a matte Bona Naturale finish.

Can I see a sample of Sausalito?

How is Sausalito installed?

Sausalito can be fully glued down, or glued and nailed. Planks over 6″ wide can’t be nailed without glue. Floating is less common, mostly in basements – ask us first.

Can Sausalito go over radiant heat?

Our floors are suitable over radiant heat. Every system is different, so tell us about yours and we’ll confirm before you order.
