The space
Olivia is best known for sharing personal style, home design and everyday life on her social media platforms, and her recent project shows the wide plank flooring she picked for her own house. From the moment you step into her home, the floor sets the tone. The longer planks and wider widths connect each room, elevating the interiors and giving the home an intentional and effortless feel.
“We love that this wood has rustic looking texture and a little bit of a farmhouse look but also goes with the style and design of our home,” Olivia explains.
With this hardwood as its foundation, her home feels cohesive, inviting and distinctly personal.
The floor
Sausalito Select 9.5″ is known for its refined yet organic appearance, and in Olivia's space it provides a seamless foundation. The lightly rustic texture brings character and authenticity, while the refined finish keeps the look polished and current. That makes the flooring a natural fit for everyday living.
Each plank is French oak on a structured core: Para Wood blocks laid perpendicular to the oak's grain, so the crossed grains restrain each other and the floor moves less.
