The core of our structured plank floors consists of a sustainably harvested hardwood with similar characteristics of oak. Combined with a strong variable wear layer, this gives you the maximum stability available from a hardwood floor.

Skilled artisans create these floors, coloring each plank by hand, and using special distressing techniques such as wire brushing and hand-scraping to create the look of naturally aged floors with a depth of color inherent from plank to plank. Our unique colors are created by a reactive color process working with the natural tannins within each plank, achieving a gorgeous, rich-looking floor that is unparalleled.

While there is a some special care that is needed to maintain oiled floors, the breathtaking look and feel of Sawyer Mason wide plank floors can easily be fixed of small scratches by simply using Rubio Monocoat Universal Maintenance Oil. Simply clean the surface with Rubio Monocoat Soap and allow the area to dry completely before applying maintenance oil. Wipe the treated area dry with a clean microfiber cloth.

These floors never have to be sanded. Wash once a week with Rubio Monocoat Soap or Surface Care Spray, and use the RMC Refresh Eco Spray as needed to restore and refresh your floors. And because Sawyer Mason floors come prefinished, there is no messy site finishing either.
